Join us for one of our open houses at Whitinsville Social Library to see proposed floor plans, drawings, images and more for the renovation and expansion of the library.
When: Saturday, October 18 from 10 AM-12 PM and Thursday, October 23 from 5-7 PM.
The open house will include opportunities to speak with the design team from Oudens Ello, project managers from LeftField and the library director, about different aspects of the project. Learn from the experts about the floor plans, exterior renderings, the project schedule, and the grant funding from the commonwealth and proposed funding from other sources.
Community members are welcome to offer their feedback on the design.
The Library Expansion project is still in the planning and design phase with conceptual design due to the state by December 31. The images and drawings shared at this open house are based on information gathered from community members and library stakeholders through in-person events and online surveys during the spring of 2024.
